It’s the summer, the time perfect time for use your plancha. This week I chose to present a recipe of squid / calamari that can all be served as a tapas or as a main course. A the end of the article you will also find Wine & Food Pairing Tips.
Time: 25 minutes
Ingredients: (for 4 people)
- 800 g (28,25 oz) Squid / calamari
- olive oil
- a lemon
- salt and pepper
- Espelette pepper
- Parsley
Preparation:
- Clean the squid / calamari (or ask at your fishmonger to do it)
- Preheat the « plancha »
- When the plancha is hot, put the squid / calamari on the plancha
- Add 8 cl (2,80 fl oz) of olive oil, salt, pepper and Espelette pepper
- Stir
- Remove the squid / calamari when they are golden
- Serve with 1/8 lemon. Bon Appetit! Enjoy !
Variants:
You can serve this recipe with a mix of dried tomato and garlic (add in step 4), or with pieces of chorizo or just with a « poivronnade ».
