Red Peppers and goat cheese Pie

 

Goat’s cheese & red pepper tart

 

This week I decided to present a great tart recipe that I like and often cook: Goat’s cheese & red pepper tart. You will also find some wine & food pairings tips : What to drink with a Goat’s cheese & red pepper tart?

  • Puff pastry
  • 3 red peppers
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 red onion
  • tomato sauce
  • olive oil
  • herbs
  • basil
  • salt and pepper
  • 10 cl dry white wine
  • 1 teaspoon of black olive tapenade
  • 80g of fresh goat’s cheese
  • 6 slices of dry goat’s cheese
  • 30g Swiss cheese

 

preparation:

  1. Finely chop the onion and garlic
  2. Clean the peppers, drain and cut into small cubes
  3. Sauté the peppers, onion, and garlic in a pan with a drizzle of olive oil , salt and pepper.
  4. Sauté 7/8 minutes over medium. In the middle of cooking pour 10 cl of wine and stir.
  5. Turn the oven to preheat to 180 ° C
  6. In a saucepan pour the tomato sauce, herbs, basil, goat cheese and mix.
  7. Once the goat cheese is melted (fast) pour the contents of the pan into the pan and stir.
