Goat’s cheese & red pepper tart
This week I decided to present a great tart recipe that I like and often cook: Goat’s cheese & red pepper tart. You will also find some wine & food pairings tips : What to drink with a Goat’s cheese & red pepper tart?
Time : 35 minutes
ingredients: (4 peoples)
- Puff pastry
- 3 red peppers
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 red onion
- tomato sauce
- olive oil
- herbs
- basil
- salt and pepper
- 10 cl dry white wine
- 1 teaspoon of black olive tapenade
- 80g of fresh goat’s cheese
- 6 slices of dry goat’s cheese
- 30g Swiss cheese
preparation:
- Finely chop the onion and garlic
- Clean the peppers, drain and cut into small cubes
- Sauté the peppers, onion, and garlic in a pan with a drizzle of olive oil , salt and pepper.
- Sauté 7/8 minutes over medium. In the middle of cooking pour 10 cl of wine and stir.
- Turn the oven to preheat to 180 ° C
- In a saucepan pour the tomato sauce, herbs, basil, goat cheese and mix.
- Once the goat cheese is melted (fast) pour the contents of the pan into the pan and stir.
- Salt and pepper (and dripping)
- Place the puff pastry in a pie plate, prick with a fork and bake for 2 /3 minutes have
- Remove the dough and pour over the contents of the pan
- Divide the cheese
- Arrange the slices of goat cheese
- Bake for 12/15 minutes (depending on oven. Consider regularly look at your pie)
- Remoce there and let it cool
