Recipe of Tartiflette
Given the cold winter that grips, this week I chose to present a simple and generous recipe that is friendly and synonymous with Christmas markets or holidays in the mountains. Let me introduce you to the recipe of Savoyard tartiflette.
Time : 50 minutes
Ingredients: good for 6 servings
- 1.5 kg of potatoes
- 500g of Reblochon cheese
- 150 gr of bacon matches (lardon/small bacon dice)
- 100 gr of sour cream
- 3 white onions
- 15 grams of butter
- 15 cl of white wine
- Pepper
- Ground Nutmeg
Preparation:
- Peel the potatoes
- Cook the potatoes in (cold) salted water
- Peel and chop onions
- Fry them in a frying pan with butter
- When translucent pour the white wine and cook until the alcohol is evaporated.
- Add the bacon in the pan until the onions and bacon turn golden.
- Get rid of the excess of fat
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° C
- Put half of the onion / bacon into each mold
- Cut the potatoes into slices
- Sprinkle lightly with nutmeg
- Arrange them in the molds
- Pour over the remaining onion / bacon
- Cut the Reblochon into strips
- Collect mussels with fresh cream and slices of Reblochon
- Add the pepper.
- Bake it for 15/17 minutes (depending on oven). Once the tartiflette is nicely browned, melted cheese. Remove. (If it is cooked but not browned using the GRILL in mode oven for less than one minute)
tips:
To vary the taste of the ” tartiflette ” do not hesitate to replace the Reblechon with Cancoillotte cheese or Munster cheese. You can also replace the bacon with pieces of chicken or turkey.
