Chocolate Cake recipe
This week I present to you a recipe that might seem relatively common but with a guaranteed success : the chocolate cake ! Also at the end of this article you will find food and wine pairings tips: What can you drink with a chocolate cake ?
Time : 20 minutes
Ingredients: (for 6 people)
- 220 g of dark chocolate (70%)
- 50g icing sugar
- 70 g of powdered sugar
- 5 whole eggs
- 180 g of butter (20g + for mold)
- 80 g flour
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° C (356°F)

- Break the chocolate into small pieces and melt with the butter in a bain-marie. Stir regularly with a spatula
- In a bowl break the eggs
- Add the icing sugar in the bowl and beat until frothy
- Add the chocolate / butter, sugar and flour and mix until homogeneous
- Pour into mold
- Place in the oven (bottom rack) for 20 minutes (in case it is a classic mold. If using ramekins bake for 12 minutes)
